Some clear patterns emerged across the conversations. What we heard in the meetings: -> There's genuine excitement about AI, and the industrial companies are educating themselves fast. -> The engineering teams in the larger industrial organizations are building in-house applications - mostly point solutions/specific use cases, the kind of work that used to get outsourced to consulting companies.; the smaller ones are at least playing with Claude. -> The in-house builds mostly stay on the IT side of the house. When the conversation turns to OT — asset performance, process reliability, plant performance — the problems get harder and the stakes get higher. That's where the biggest value still sits, largely untouched. -> The relationship with consulting firms has changed. Every project is scrutinized now as a build vs. partner decision. -> Data, security, governance — and making sure data doesn't leave the country — came up in almost every conversation. Who survives and thrives in this market? The companies that: -> Solve hard, complex problems AND that create real business value for the customer -> Take on problems that could not be solved in the past because of technology or cost constraints -> Create an agentic surplus of high-value industrial resources — like reliability engineers, process engineers, data scientists. Building simple vertical solutions using AI (copilots/coworkers) won't cut it in the industrial sector. The clients will build many of those themselves. They are expecting a lot more. And these are the problems the Spector.ai team thinks about everyday.

(MGC) to implement Visionaize’s V-Plant *1 within its Niigata Plant, a 3D digital twin solution forming part of Chiyoda's plantOSTM *2 total operation and maintenance (O&M) solution platform. V-Plant visually and centrally manages siloed data in plant operation and maintenance utilizing 3D models. Large installation costs have traditionally been a barrier to ‘as-built’ 3D models, but V-Plant enables the gradual implementation of virtual space digital twins in the business case, justifying costs with a crawl, walk, run approach supporting 360o scan images, mesh models *3 and ultimately full 3D models *4 on a single platform. MGC produces various chemical products on a site area of approximately 1 million square meters within its Niigata plant. Introducing a 3D digital twin solution to manufacturing plants, and combining the robust capabilities of Visionaize V-Plant with Chiyoda's expertise, supports MGC to optimize maintenance costs, boost employee productivity and improve worker safety. Chiyoda will continue to support MGC plant operations by providing a comprehensive approach to the construction & maintenance of 3D models, management and operation of the platform and providing one-stop solutions for future upgrades and expansions. Nikhil Chauhan liked thisNikhil Chauhan liked thisThere is an old management adage that says, “What gets measured gets managed.” Lately, I have found that it applies equally well to building better habits. A couple of months ago, I wore a continuous glucose monitor for 14 days. I am not diabetic. I simply wanted to understand how different foods and behaviors affected my glucose levels. I have always been a fast eater. Lunch would usually take me less than 10 minutes. The monitor showed me that my glucose rose sharply after lunch. So I began eating more slowly and stretched the meal to about 30 minutes. The glucose spike reduced. Then I added a 10-minute walk after meals. It improved further. Finally, I started eating fiber and protein before the carbohydrates. The difference was difficult to ignore. None of this was new advice. Nutritionists have been saying it for years. But advice is easy to dismiss. Data is not. When you see a number change in response to something you have done, the link between the behavior and outcome is impossible to ignore. Off lately, I have been wearing a Whoop and tracking my recovery. The pattern is hard to miss. When I sleep less or late, the score drops. When I sleep adequately and on time, it improves. My Whoop age dropped below my biological age when I started playing Pickleball regularly, and that became a strong motivation. Wearable devices make the invisible visible. They show us how seemingly small choices throughout the day affect the body. Once that relationship becomes visible, changing behavior requires less motivation or persuasion. The good news is that you do not have to wear these devices forever. Wearing them for a few weeks or months can be enough to make the relevant changes. And those changes are more likely to stick because you have seen them work in your own body. #Technology #HealthTech #DataDrivenHealth

I visited two cafés: one coffee cost around ₹500, while the other cost around ₹100. I expected the biggest difference to be in the cup, but it wasn't. The biggest difference was the person behind the machine. Both cafés served good coffee, but one barista stayed calm despite a long queue. They smiled, maintained eye contact, welcomed every guest, and never looked rushed. That's when I realised something. Premium cafés don't just train baristas to make coffee. They train them to stay composed under pressure. At Barista Beings, that's exactly what we teach. Not just espresso extraction but emotional stability. • How to reset after a difficult guest. • How to stay calm during peak hours. • How body language and tone influence every interaction. • How to make every guest feel genuinely welcome.
